Starfishy! Phylum Echinodermata, Class Asteroidea. Yeah... biology corrupts my brain.

I really need a sign "Artist--Will Create for Food". I've gotten a handfull of offers lately--Help me do a layout and I'll buy you ice cream, Help me with this poster and I'll make you supper, Help me string endless amounts of beads and glue on millions of sequins and I'll bring dinner AND ice cream. So then I get an request from my buddy for an abstract/stylized starfish.

A starfish. A lumpy, star-shaped blob. Ok... so I ran an image search and dude...some of these things have some gorgeous patterning! I actually managed to sit down and draw up something in an afternoon. Something I personally think turned out pretty cool. Of course, I got kinda caught up in my starfish search that I never asked her what it was for...but hopefully this works otherwise you may see even more starfish.
